CAMEL MAN

          As a little boy, Edward Detty had his name read on live TV when it was his birthday.  A cartoon Camel that Eddie watched each Saturday on TV did this.  To this day Edward Detty has loved Camels and has been the owner and caretaker of five Camels.  Edward Detty has a Camel Ministry where he takes his Camels to Church Vacation Bible Schools, Christmas Manger scene setups and various other places where children will be.  God has through this Camel Ministry taught Edward Detty how to love one of God’s creatures… The Camel as man would love any other creatures of God’s animal creation.  God has also taught Edward Detty how to let go of his beloved Camels to death.  With a broken heart… Edward Detty has learned that sometimes God will take away something we love in order to teach us to trust Him.  God has also used an old woman to minister to Edward after the loss of his beloved Camel.  She set up a special Camel Fund to replace the camel he lost to death.
